Through the first months of integrating our General Terms of Sale, we had some complaints about those terms being too much of a wall of text in need of a lawyer in order to approve them. Eventually we copied the terms the Société française des traducteurs generously offers to any fellow translator. It has been reviewed by their own lawyer, and provide additionnal protection for both parties. That is why we have chosen to implement them: to let you know we are different from the crowd, we protect your rights.
Still, we agree it is not painless to read through this, and we were quite skeptical too when reading it for the first time. There are no pitfalls, just business-aware agreements. We enjoy letting you feel at ease with us, that is why we have developped another way to read the General Terms of Sale: you can know have it presented to you with slides!
Using Google Presentation, we have developped what we call a "quick and dirty guide" to our terms. The main points are presented here, in a graphical way. We plan on releasing these slides as a neat video with a voice-over at a later date to let you just click and watch!
